Michael Mendieta
Michael is the Creative Director of Copy at Circus Maximus, currently living in Park City, Utah. He is responsible for overseeing all creative work including strategic brand frameworks, conceptual development, copy, casting, and overall creative direction.
He has worked for CM in some capacity for the past eight years, touching dozens of clients, including Gillette, Fuzzy, Fireball, On/Go, Feelmore Cove, La Colombe, American Express, Reserveage, King C. Gillette, and Art of Shaving. His background as a brand strategist helps him to zero in on actionable, human insights and translate them into communications that resonate.
In his spare time, Michael is a memer (yes, someone who creates memes) and a cultural commentator. He has worked with several high-profile clients to create branded memes (Netflix, Valentino, Tinder) and he also occasionally serves as a red-carpet correspondent (Met Gala, MTV VMA's).
Michael received his degree in Media, Culture, and Communications (MCC) from NYU. He also served as chairman of the board for the MCC Alumni Network (18'-21') and as an adjunct professor, teaching “Self-Branding and Interviewing Strategies” at NYU.
